Weekend Link Roundup : Week 1

Last updated: Dec 1, 2007

In this post I am going to publish the links that I found interesting this week.

Firefox 3 vs Firefox 2 - Great comparison of Firefox 3 with Firefox 2. Nice one!

First Release Candidate of KDE 4.0 available - The KDE community released the first release candidate for the new major version, KDE 4.0. This release candidate marks that the majority of the components of KDE 4.0 are now approaching release quality. I can’t want to test kde4 as I have been pretty frustrated with gnome lately.

Banning Wikipedia at school: good idea or missed opportunity? - A Pennsylvania school district has banned access to Wikipedia on grounds that it is not an accurate source of information. Critics argue that it’s a missed opportunity to teach media literacy. - Wikipedia is by far the most informational website I have found on the majority of topics I search.

Massive list of tutorial websites - Read write web has a large list of tutorial websites. If you are bored and want to learn a cool trick or new skill check these out.

Always use protection - A funny picture… btw if you are still using Internet Explorer for your main browser I suggest that you switch to, Firefox.
